Bruce Campbell

Research Collaborator

Bruce Campbell has been a contributor to the research process since 2020, through participating in interview conversations and reviewing draft content and providing input for the manuscript of the book, Beloved Economies.

Bruce seeks to leverage his 20 plus years of experience as a corporate attorney to make business and finance more responsive to those that have been most negatively affected by the current predominant economic systems.  Over the course of his career, he has advised clients on transactions worth billions of dollars in the aggregate, ranging from angel financings for start-ups to public offerings for multi-national companies.  Bruce has extensive international experience, and has completed corporate transactions on six continents. His current work focuses on the investment of tax-exempt capital by ultra-high-net-worth families into enterprises advancing solutions to social and environmental problems.

When he’s not “working,” Bruce enjoys all things outdoors, especially trail running, biking, snowboarding, and playing with his son.  He also helps facilitate mindfulness retreats and meditation groups and is a member of the board of directors of the Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation.
